Enjoy a true nostalgic ride with the oldest cable car in the world, the Grande Dame of the Alps. Since its first run on July 1, 1928, the Predigtstuhlbahn has been transporting its passengers safely up the side of the Predigtstuhl.  Long after the Predigtstuhlbahn had been developed, it was considered as the example of a completed aerial cableway. Speed, silence and safety were praised – qualities that still exist today. The unique mountain restaurant with its breathtaking view from the café terrace running along the cliff, is a good place for Gourmets.
